Angeline is an internationally recognised Accredited Practising Dietitian & Accredited Nutritionist that inspires thousands of people to eat and live well.

Prior to her masters degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, she has been working as a nutritionist for over 10 years in the healthcare industry. After graduated in 2012, she went on to start her own dietetics business - BBDiet (Back To Basics Dietetics) - a private dietitian practice that provides dietetic services to medical centres and residential aged care facilities across Brisbane and Gold Coast areas.   

Angeline's areas of strong interests are inflammatory conditions such as diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), cancer nutrition, arthritis, food allergies, and women's health including Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, infertility, PMS, menopause as well as eating disorders. She believes that the body has the power to heal itself when given the right conditions. 

As a dietitian, Angeline is committed to delivering an exceptional dietetic service in consideration to client’s lifestyle including food preference, existing exercise routine and medical health status to meet their individual needs. Seeing people transform themselves through healthy eating and lifestyle changes gives her a great sense of satisfaction and keeps her motivated to continue to serve the community.

Venus’ passion lies in inspiring and encouraging people to lead a healthier, happier life using a holistic approach to nutrition and wellness. She firmly believes that the key to optimal health is achieving a state of balance between physical, emotional, social and spiritual health. Her food philosophy revolves around whole foods, emphasising a balanced diet that is personal, enjoyable and sustainable. 

 

Venus received her Master of Dietetics Studies and Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutrition) from the University of Queensland. Her areas of interest include diabetes and chronic disease management, women’s health and early life nutrition. Having struggled with past emotional eating issues herself, she is also passionate about helping her clients to break free from the cycle of eating disorders and find ways to practise mindfulness. Her counselling approach is rooted in serving others, empowerment and building confidence. 

 

As an avid foodie, Venus enjoys exploring new cafes and trying out different cuisines to brush up her cooking skills. She is involved in content creation, as well as nutrition journalism to media outlets to combine her nutrition knowledge with creativity.

Lexi Xiao Lan

Lexi is dedicated to helping others to achieve their health goals. With a passion for sharing her knowledge for making a healthy lifestyle not only achievable but also sustainable. 

 

Lexi holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice from Bond University and Bachelor of clinical medicine when she lived in China. The medical background enables her to have a profound understanding of chronic diseases. Her areas of interests are chronic disease management, weight management, diabetes management, renal disease management, cardiovascular disease management and gut health.

 

Lexi also believes that achieving good health is much more important than counting calories and the number on the scale. She understands that making lifestyle behaviour changes is not always simple. She is dedicated to working with her clients to understand her clients’ eating habits, lifestyle, cultural backgrounds, and social settings to provide practical personalised advice. 

 

As a member of the Dietitian Australia, Lexi strives to enhance her knowledge and skills to provide high-quality, evidence-based client-centred care to improve each individual’s overall well-being.

Brendan Whitten
Accredited Practising Dietitian

Brendan grew up with a passion for food, nutrition and healthy living. Having personal experience with a chronic illness, he understands the importance of a healthy diet and the ins and outs of making simple, enjoyable and effective lifestyle changes to achieve positive health outcomes.

 

Brendan attained his Masters of Dietetic Studies, Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutrition) and Graduate Certificate in Mental Health from the University of Queensland. He has undergone experience in various clinical settings such as hospitals, foodservice, aged care and the mental health sector. His areas of interest include mental health, diabetes management, weight management and gastrointestinal disorders.

 

Brendan focuses on creating an environment where you feel positive in being able to make healthy lifestyle choices and confident in implementing them into your lifestyle. He incorporates a holistic approach to his practise, considering the social, environmental, physiological and emotional aspects surrounding food and nutrition when helping clients achieve their health goals.

 

When he is not consulting clients, you can find him hiking on various trails, exploring local restaurants and cafes, at the gym or travelling around the world."

Kristine Chen
Accredited Practising Dietitian

Kristine is passionate about supporting clients’ health and wellbeing by empowering them about their own dietary needs. Kristine strongly believes that healthy eating and lifestyle choices are the key to preventing and reducing the likelihood of chronic conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes and hypertension.

 

Kristine graduated from Queensland University of Technology and was accorded Accredited Practising Dietitian Status. Her main area of interest is chronic disease management, which includes diabetes management, hypertension, and high cholesterol. She is keen to assist clients manage their chronic illnesses in realistic and sustainable ways.

 

Having struggled with weight management herself in the past has made Kristine understand that chronic conditions require a patient and persistent approach to achieve ongoing permanent results.

 

As Kristine is passionate about her career in dietetics, she continues to seek continual professional development in areas of interest to best assist and tailor innovative techniques to clients’ needs. During her leisure time, she likes to go to the gym, play piano and explore new cafés and restaurants with friends.
