Angeline Stania

Founder of BBDiet

Angeline is an internationally recognised Accredited Practising Dietitian & Accredited Nutritionist that inspires thousands of people to eat and live well.

Prior to her masters degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, she has been working as a nutritionist for over 10 years in the healthcare industry. After graduated in 2012, she went on to start her own dietetics business - BBDiet (Back To Basics Dietetics) - a private dietitian practice that provides dietetic services to medical centres and residential aged care facilities across Brisbane and Gold Coast areas.   

Angeline's areas of strong interests are inflammatory conditions such as diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), cancer nutrition, arthritis, food allergies, and women's health including Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, infertility, PMS, menopause as well as eating disorders. She believes that the body has the power to heal itself when given the right conditions. 

As a dietitian, Angeline is committed to delivering an exceptional dietetic service in consideration to client’s lifestyle including food preference, existing exercise routine and medical health status to meet their individual needs. Seeing people transform themselves through healthy eating and lifestyle changes gives her a great sense of satisfaction and keeps her motivated to continue to serve the community.

Louise Lombard

Accredited Practising Dietitian

Louise holds degrees in Health Science, Nutrition and Dietetics and has a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between the human body and nutritional biochemistry. Louise uses her expertise in food and nutrition by translating evidence-based scientific information into personalised practical advice to help clients improve their health and wellbeing. 

Louise has been trained in many areas of human nutrition and can help people understand the diet-disease relationship for a wide range of health problems. She offers nutrition counseling services in chronic disease management such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management and gastrointestinal disorders (Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Coeliac Disease). Being a parent and experiencing first hand children who are fussy eaters she also has a special interest in childhood nutrition and gut health.

Knowing the health benefits of eating well Louise is very passionate about food and nutrition and enjoys helping people lead healthy lifestyles. She practices what she preaches when it comes to engaging in a healthy lifestyle by incorporating healthy eating and exercise into her daily life. She takes a wholistic and person-centred care approach in working with clients, to facilitate nutrition, behavior and lifestyle change and empower clients.

Yat Kan (Tom) Fung

Accredited Practising Dietitian

Tom grew up with a passion for food, nutrition and fitness. That led him to pursue a higher education to support his passions. Tom holds his Master of Dietetics Studies and Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition from the University of Queensland. He is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
 

Tom's areas of interests are chronic disease management, weight management, sports nutrition, diabetes management and renal disease management. What he loves the most about what he does is being able to spread messages that inspire people to feel as good as they can through food, and how to achieve that in a sustainable way. 

He gained his clinical experience during clinical placements in various clinical settings including Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, aged care centre and food industry.

During his spare time, he loves hitting the gym, cooking, exploring new restaurants as well as nurturing himself with continual professional development program to further equip with knowledge and skills as a nutrition expert.

Venus So

Accredited Practising Dietitian

Venus’ passion lies in inspiring and encouraging people to lead a healthier, happier life using a holistic approach to nutrition and wellness. She firmly believes that the key to optimal health is achieving a state of balance between physical, emotional, social and spiritual health. Her food philosophy revolves around whole foods, emphasising a balanced diet that is personal, enjoyable and sustainable. 

 

Venus received her Master of Dietetics Studies and Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nutrition) from the University of Queensland. Her areas of interest include diabetes and chronic disease management, women’s health and early life nutrition. Having struggled with past emotional eating issues herself, she is also passionate about helping her clients to break free from the cycle of eating disorders and find ways to practise mindfulness. Her counselling approach is rooted in serving others, empowerment and building confidence. 

 

As an avid foodie, Venus enjoys exploring new cafes and trying out different cuisines to brush up her cooking skills. She is involved in content creation, as well as nutrition journalism to media outlets to combine her nutrition knowledge with creativity.
